Always a Patriot
Since joining Civil Air Patrol at age 13, Drew has been serving his country. Drew rose to the highest rank a cadet can achieve in Civil Air Patrol, graduated from high school in Lincoln, Nebraska, and immediately attended the USAF Academy.
Drew was a double major at USAFA, graduated second in his class in academic order of merit. Drew received several awards at the U.S. Air Force Academy including the top former Civil Air Patrol cadet, the top cadet in the History Major, and the top cadet in the German Language. He received an academic scholarship to Harvard University where he earned a Masters Degree and PhD in Operations Research/Public Policy. His dissertation topics was “Underground Nuclear Defense Shelters and Field Fortifications for NATO Troops.”
Active-Duty Air Force
In the US Air Force, Drew served active duty in the Regular Air Force, the Air National Guard, and the USAF Reserve in the following positions, rising to the rank of Colonel:
- Analyst, then Chief of International Political-Military Affairs Branch, Strategic Air Command Headquarters
- Command Intelligence Officer and Briefer, U.S. Readiness Command
- Director of Intelligence, Nebraska Air National Guard
- Nuclear Plans and Programs Officer, U.S. Strategic Command
- Deployments to Turkey, Germany, and Bosnia for exercises and Operation “Joint Endeavor”
- Plans and Programs Officer, U.S. Air Force Staff, HQ USAF
- Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Commandant of Cadets, U.S. Air Force Academy
Corporate Career
After leaving active duty, Drew started a business career at ConAgra Inc, serving as an Analyst, then Manager in the Corporate Planning and Development department. Drew did adjunct teaching for the University of Nebraska, Creighton University, and Bellevue University. He earned Certified Financial Planner, Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor and Certified Management Accountant certifications, receiving an award for the highest score on the CMA qualifying exam.
Drew also worked part time as an elected official, first as a County Commissioner, then a University of Nebraska Regent (an elected position in Nebraska). Following a long deployment in Germany and Bosnia during Operation Joint Endeavor, Drew started his own consulting practice, Heartland Management Consulting. A consulting client, Securities America, hired him to be their VP for Planning and Development, and later he was President in the Quantum Alliance, a financial and estate planning firm.
Return to National Security Work
Drew returned to full time national security work by joining the Institute for Defense Analyses, the Dept of Defense top Federally Funded R&D Center (think tank), where he worked on a variety of studies.
Drew served for a year in the Department of Defense “Senior Executive Service” on the DoD Business Management Modernization Program, working to integrate DoD business systems, reduce IT systems and administrative costs, adopt new, consolidated Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, and reform the DoD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting system.
Iraq Deployments
After returning to the Institute for Defense Analyses, Drew also did several deployments to Iraq as a deployed analyst, working at the Multi-National Corp Iraq combat headquarters studying ways to reduce Improved Explosive Device casualties, and then the Multi-National Force Iraq headquarters on campaign assessment and a variety of special studies for the Commander, General David Petraeus.
Fortitude Ranch
While serving at the Institute for Defense Analyses, in the USAF Reserve, and a University of Nebraska Regent, in 2014 Drew founded Fortitude Ranch, the nation’s first and now largest recreational and survival community business.
Drew is CEO of Disaster Preparedness LLC, which owns and operates the Fortitude Ranch recreational and survival community, the Disaster Preparedness Threat Watch and Collapse Warning System including the Collapse Survivor App, and Fortitude Collapse Preparedness consulting firm, which helps organizations prepare plans to ensure they survive a bad collapse disaster.

The Future
Drew has devoted his life to community and military service to protect the United States. He is now working to save everyone from the coming disasters of new technologies like bioengineering and super-intelligent Artificial General Intelligence, which will bring not just more collapse disasters, but the extermination of the human race.
